I do not own one of your bracelets yet, but I will soon, when I get a little extra money. My dad died 2 yrs. very quickly from lung cancer, then late last year my mom got sick too. I watched my best friend pass away before my eyes. My parents were precious to me, and within two short years, both in December, they were gone. Thank you for your beautiful, thoughtful bracelets. I look forward to owning one.
Peace, Susy

Thank you, Penny, for thinking of my Molly. Molly was recently diagnosed with bilateral retinoblastoma. She is just 3 months old. Thank you for donating toward her medical expenses. She just had round 2 of chemo yesterday and today. I love your website. If you ever need any help with it, my husband knows a thing or two about computers! Sadly, I wouldn’t be much help! Thanks again, Kalee.

Penny, Such a nice surprize that Nancy showed up with yesterday. Somehow I had not heard of your group. I was just diagnosed with leiomyosarcoma and have yet to start my chemo. I do know that you are on our prayer list at church each week and I wish you well.
Thanks again, Sandie

Penny- so glad I found your site. I try and make sure I always have an awareness bracelet. Last one is worn out. Always thought cancer was in other people’s family. I have lost 1 friend to cervical cancer, 2 to breast cancer, 1 cousin is battling breast cancer that has spread, 1 friend battling cervical cancer, 1 friend with melanoma, a grandfather to throat cancer and now my mom to brain cancer. I guess cancer eventually touches all of us. We need to stop this or slow it down some how. Please keep up the good fight!! Karen

Penny- I have had the honor of wearing one of your bracelets every day for the last several years. In some amazing way, about the time one is getting pretty worn out, another friend of mine sends one to me or drops by with a new one. I am thrilled with your work and wish I could find a niche similar to yours to help out. But I’m still looking.... One comment I would like to make - living with sarcoma (leiomyosarcoma) certainly makes a person feel left out. We all see the pink ribbons, and every other color under the rainbow, and I feel great respect for those working so hard for those cures - and they are happening!! With sarcoma, we make up 4% of all cancers (LMS 7% of that number) it is a very aggressive, very complicated disease. Little research as been done because funding is low, and our numbers are lower. It would take my breath away just to one time see a reference to "the rest of us". I don’t know if this could be added - maybe a general bead to represent all those other cancers that are "recognized". It does kick me in the gut a bit each time I see a list without me. Seems pretty silly to me sometimes, but I just don’t want to be forgotten.
Thanks for listening. I love the bracelets and will continue to wear one as long as I’m on this beautiful earth. My 6 year old twin daughters and 5 year old daughter know that they are "Momma’s special bracelets" and not for play
Thanks for all you do - Could you please send me the quote that originated your company. I do Uppercase Living and would love to add it to my wall.
Sincerely
Natalie Krohn

Penny, God Bless you! We lost our Dad to cancer in Nov ’08. We wore the Lance Armstrong "Live Strong" yellow bracelets for Dad through his entire illness--and continue to do so. We vowed to say a prayer for Dad everytime we looked at the bracelet. You can imagine how many times we saw our bracelets and sent up prayers! Our prayers were answered in that we were given a lot more time with Dad than the doctors had predicted. Your bracelet will be a reminder for me to continue to pray for everyone with all types of cancer. Live Strong, Penny!

Hi, Penny - I read the article in the Sioux City Journal about your bracelets and I will order some today. My sister has been battling cancer for a year now and one of my friends has just been diagnosed with it. Bless you for doing this and may God bless you in your own battle.
