My mother, Maria "Mary" Duran, was high school pals with Roz and Marilyn. I met them many time but the first I remember was when they played the Forbidden City in Hawaii. I was about five then and to me they were big stars. My mom still shares stories about the twins. Thanks for sharing your lives with all of us.

When I was a kid, we lived across the street from Roz and Marilyn. I remember them as kind and funny and sweet. Wish I could have told them that when they were around. 35905 Dalewood Dr., girls! You were a wonderful part of my childhood!

I remember how kind the Borden Twins were to the neighborhood children. They lived on Dalewood Drive in Newark, California. I was five or six years old at the time. Someone said we had famous people on the block. Who? The Borden Twins. So we all dared each other to go to their house. We timidly knocked on the door. None of us could speak -- we didn’t know what to say. Finally, I think I told them that we had heard they were famous stars. They were both so kind and gracious to us. They offered us autographed pictures, which we greedily took. I didn’t know which shows they did or anything else about them, but I remember it was my first encounter with famous people, and they played the role with sparkles in their eyes and warmth in their hearts. God bless them both.

I will forever remember The Borden twins for singing Tammy Wynette’s hit song, Ricochet Romance on the classic TV Show,I Love Lucy, with Ernie Ford as guest star. "Those two peas in a pod or watermelons in a patch" have been reunited in heaven. Thank you both for bringing laughter to millions of people who followed your careers through the years. You will surely be missed.

I’m sorry that I discovered the You Tube videos and website too late to let them know how cool I thought they were. Never dawned on me that there would be a website or anything on You Tube.

I am so sorry to read that both Borden twins are now deceased. I was watching the episode of Tennessee Bound and decided to look them up on the internet only to find out that Marilyn had passed away in March. They will always be famous for the episode they were in on I Love Lucy. It is so sad to know that we lose such wonderful people and there is no one to replace them. They will be missed.
