Hi Old Estonians, I am Robert French known as Frenchy to some. Remember the midget times, by the way I owned one for several years. If Mr Moss reads this he will remember as mentioned in the guest book. I have had a busy working life until now at the age of 67.
Hobby been involved with aviation airshows etc, classic aircraft. Anybody remembers me and regards to all.

Even at 79 years old still having "BLACK OUTS" at the memories of certain Eshton horrors such as regular Pidcock beatings ,being called to the head master’s study after lunch to receive a Pidda beating for every mistake when saying tables and beatings , beatings for bad maths. So terrified that at what was to follow that I wet his armchair over which I was bent.
Beeing sent home with infantile paralysis and some months in Leeds GI.Much time and life lost.
That evil bastard would have been punished for his unkindness to a small boy in another age and certainly prevented from mastership. |

New Year’s Greetings to all Old Eshtonians, particularly Purdyites, who have made it through another year.
My prostate cancer is still in remission and I finally got a ’hole-in one’ on my home course after 25 years of trying.
Hang in there, there’s life in we old dogs yet!! |

Desmond Hicks, who taught Geography and Latin at Eshton School in the 1950’s, died in Truro hospital on September 7th. He was 85. The Eshton Association sends its condolences to Mrs Hicks and the family.
I have had to put this notice in the Guestbook because for some time we have not been able to contact Dave Mico. Both his email account and telephone have been disabled. It may be that he has just changed his details and not told us yet, but I ask Dave to contact us a.s.a.p.
