Thanks for the mention!
You are famous (if not infamous) with many, many people following your progress. You have as a reader, infact, the owner of n/b Granny Buttons - Andrew Denny - who is one of the longest and certainly most respected bloggers. He mentioned you on Thursday, 18 September 2008 and earlier, on Thursday, 07 August 2008.
By the way, Jambo is moored at Upware. We are not ’live-aboards’ but live south of Chelmsford. I have a job, though, which provides me with a desk in the university Vet School so I spend a couple of nights most weeks on the boat. Perhaps we can meet-up in the Five Miles one evening, when you have settled-in.
I am sure you will enjoy the next few days with chums in Cambridge, and wish you luck with the job-hunting.
Best wishes to you both.

Just started reading your blog. If it was a book I wouldn’t be able to put it down!.
The Nene is never easy as we found out in 2005 when we hit a footbridge with the tiller arm after a rainstorm. The river levels go up very rapidly.
I’ve now added you to my links. Good look. |

I read your blog every day and love it. Having sold my boat I feel really envious. So glad you are having a great time and meeting nice people. Long may it continue. Best Wishes.

Hi Both,
Now that you’ve got started I’m really enjoying following your journey. Your experiences remind me of what it was like when we first got "Starcross" although at least I had a good few years hire boating experience behind me!
I’m also impressed at how you are managing to meet famous bloggers such as Bones and Maffi! Sadly, no one famous seems to come up the Shroppie much -although I did meet Sue and Vic from No Problam last year!
Good Luck for the rest of the journey
