James I thoroughly enjoyed your site. I am in the hospital with one of my children who is very sick and was randomly searching for things on google. I googled Siberia and found your site. It took my mind off things for a while so thanks for that. If you ever find yourself in or near Denver Colorado look me up. I will buy you a Coors.

I like Elfenokster’s blog at LiveJournal and added her as friend. I have asked her to tell me more about Russian culture and she introduced this link in her recent post. Just to let you know you are doing what I have dreamed of doing but have not done - exploring new frontier geographically and culturally. Nothing better than reading your first hand account of your experience. I like the photos you took too, like video shot. Please keep us updated on your next venture. Enjoy what you do! It is such a privilege. I will be going to Munich, Vieanna, Budapest and Prague next week. Hope I find some inspirations for my wrinting too. All the best. |

| An interesting read - brought back many memories of my visit to Chita when I first met my wife (she was a politics lecturer at the university). We’re hoping to go back in the summer (assuming I can still get in with all this Litvenenko nonsense going on) |

Hello James,
Your friend Maria Vassilieva in Chita told me about your writing so am now getting around to pulling up your website and reaing. Chita was interesting - great military museum and topless pole dancer entertainment during one of our restaruant dinners. |

Dear James,
It was a treat indeed reading your narrative. I am an Indian. I have lived in Central Asia for some time, which was a former USSR territory. I could recall each moment of my stay over there. I would love to go and stay in Siberia for a while.
Very happy indeed reading this books. Hats off to you. Thanks |
