My father was in the army and I lived on the small island of Pulau Brani from 58-60 and 63-66.
If any of you have children that went to school in Singapore then please contact me for reunion details at
One of our members joined the WRAC in Singapore, straight from school, and did her basic training there (1965?).
Was that unusual?

Hi Brenda,
I was in HQ Field Records from 1954-1956, but I don’t remember you. We had 4 WRAC in our office, Marie Madden, Liz ????, Davina ???? and one other, name forgotten, we did have a WRAC WO2 in charge, name forgotten. I have put some photo’s of Christmas 1955 on this site, happy day’s.

It was really lovely to have you with us on friday evening at the dinner weekend Gerry, it was a great evening with a very special atmosphere and it added to it having you with us, the whole weekend was fabulous full of laughter and friendship.
