Good Morning I was a Cpl at 4 Co WRAC from March - November 1971, worked VERY HARD in the SMC at HQ FARELF!!! Just been back to Singapore in February and the barracks are still there!!! Not had time to sort out my 1000 plus photos yet but lots changed and buildings everywhere. Price of living is very reasonable only expensive things are hotels and alcohol. Transport system is superb and CHEAP. Thanks for the link. Maggie  |

| Hi, I was very lucky to be posted to 4 Coy WRAC in July 1970 and I was told my posting would only be for 8 months as the repatriation had already began, I stayed until 4 days before the close down and had a wonderful time. I worked in the Comcen in Tanglin Bks with some great people. Thank you for this site I am sure it has brought many pals together over the years. |

I was a clerk in the Keep from 1957 to 1958. I loved it. Especially my nights out with ’Jock’ for our rock’n’roll competitions, especially at Raffles, nearly all of which we won. I never did know his real name, though. Shame!!!!

| I was in Singapore 1967/68. Was employed in Stats and Records. Left Singapore Oct 68 to get married. Met my husband in Singapore he worked in Transport Branch Singapore District. Went back to Singapore for our 40th Wedding anniversary Oct 2008. Went back to the camp which is still there as though I had just left. It is all fenced off so unfortunately couldn`t go inside. Have taken some pics of the outside of the camp which I will try to put on the site. Would like to hear from anyone who remembers me. |
