Yes I remember you Gillian (Rhodes), I am the pay clerk who took over from you in the pay office. I am married and live in Paraparaumu, New Zealand. Anyone heard from Maggie Trewick or Marlene Hurstfield?

Hello Brenda Adams, I was in Field Records at the same time as you but I can’t recall you. I do know your husband Bill though as I was in the same billet, he had his own room in the corner. Say hello to him from me, John Gower ex corporal RASC. regards John

I was with 4 Indep Coy from Sep 54 to Dec 55. Worked in HQ Field Records, where I met my future husband. Bill Adams who also worked in Field Records Division 3. Remember some very happy times and nights out. Married in August 1956, in England, returned to Singapore from June 1967 to Dec 1969, with a son and two daughters. Pleased to hear from anyone who still remembers me or my husband Will [Bill]. On this tour Will worked in Comd FARELF Office.

What a shock to hear Jerry is approaching 75. Just celebrated my 63rd birthday. Seems a life time and world away at Tanglin.

Hi all, I have just discovered this site. I was in the RASC doing my National Service as a clerk in A Stats Field Records GHQ FARELF from 1954-1956. We had several WRAC in our office and would like to hear from anyone who was there at that time. I have several photo’s of my time there. I went back to Tanglin in May this year, a lot of changes. It was good to see that the old barracks was still there and being put to a good use. I had a couple of good meals in the Dome restaurant there, which if I remember rightly was where our cookhouse was.
