I want to thank my wife Pam for putting up with me sitting at the computer for sometimes more than 12 hours a day, everyday, while I designed the website greatoldtvshows.com. We both felt that there was no other site like this on the web and along with bringing back memories for many people, it might bring us some much needed extra income. There are so many shows I wish were still on TV but these days TV stations tend to play countless reruns of Seinfeld, Everybody Loves Raymond and Friends. Enough already! Give me Gomer Pyle, That Girl, The Partridge Family, Dick Van Dyke Show....well I could go on and on. Anyway, thanks to DVDs we can continue to watch all those great old TV shows whenever we want.

Hi Everyone!

How fun is this? Ed thought up the idea of having a guestbook right here on our website. I hope people have fun telling their stories in this guestbook of watching their favorite shows when they were kids or young adults. We’ve had several emails and phone calls from people we’ve sent emails to telling about the site, and it’s so funny to hear how they used to love watching Mary Tyler Moore, Sonny & Cher, and of course, The Brady Bunch! People are excited about the site for many reasons, but I love the reason of being able to share with their kids the shows they loved when they were growing up. It’s sad that so many shows nowadays are filled with unmentionable scenes and/or language that, in my opinion, just should not be allowed, nevermind before primetime. The censors have really relaxed their standards to a very low point. I don’t think it’s going to get any better, sadly. So, long story short, thanks Ed for coming up with this fabulous idea of great old TV shows! Oh, and by the way, my favorite shows were The Brady Bunch, Partridge Family, That Girl, Red Skelton, I Love Lucy, and...the list goes on!
