Me and Barb(my wife),saw you last night in Lladudno,I could never have imagined when I first heard you sing in the 90`s that one day I would have the privelage of being in the same town as you let alone the same theatre, what an entertainer, you had all of us in the palm of your hand, and rightly so, any one who didn`t turn up last night will never know what they missed, you really are special and "YOU MAKE US FEEL PROUD"

Heather Small in Dancing On Wheels

Heather Small, Mark Foster and Michelle Gayle are among celebrities who will be dancing with wheelchair users in a "groundbreaking" new six-part series for BBC3.

Kevin Sacre, rugby legend Martin Offiah and presenter Caroline Flack are also set to partner wheelchair users who have never danced before in Dancing On Wheels.

BBC3 controller Danny Cohen said; "This is a really important project for BBC3, and underlines our commitment to covering disability in a mainstream way following the success of Britain’s Missing Top Model last year."

"The series will be surprising, fun and glamorous," he continued.

Contestants will be given only five weeks to master every move from the cha-cha to the paso doble.

They will all be learning the art of Wheelchair Dance Sport, an international sport where at least one dancer is a wheelchair user.

A panel of judges will decide each week which couples stay in the competition.

Dancing On Wheels is the working title of the show, which will see the winning couple will go on to represent the UK at the Wheelchair Dance Sport European Championships in Israel this autumn.

The programme will be shown later this year.
