I was a 202 with the 6901st from Sep 64 thru Sep 67. It’s sad to see the base mostly demolished, but on the other hand, those barracks were slums. I was always amazed that the country that made rockets work, invented cars and diesels and jet engines could never comprehend plumbing. Anyway, I miss sunny Zwei and plan to be there in Sept of 10 to see what’s new. I guess it’s Weissbier now instead of Parkbrau.....sigh...

I was stationed at Zweibrucken 85-87. I was a crew chief in the 26th. This was my first base and a ton of fun. I would love to find a few old friends from that period.

| I was stationed at Zwei from 1983 - 1985, can honestly say probably my most enjoyable and rewarding assignment. Was assigned to the 609 CON Hospital which at the time was the first 500 bed contingency hospital in all of Europe. |

I found this web page just purely by accident. I would sure like to hear from anyone who was at Sunny Zwei during the same time I was. Around 76-80. It was good to see some old familiar names!!
Send an e-mail with a subject of "Sunny Zwei". |
