Zweibrucken was my first assignment, 1988 - 1991, and was in the 2143rd Communications Squadron. I was in the Air Traffic Control Radio Maintenanc shop, up in the Comm building on the hill under the microwave tower and overlooking the front gate. What a great time. Some of the people I remember are TSgt Jim Hunter, MSgt Ralph Skokanic, SSgt Tom Bauer, SSgt Michael ???, SSgt Ernest Gallo, Sgt Dave Wentworth, Sgt Kennie Denmon, A1C Eric Cash, A1C Paulette Hines, SSgt Bob Ohlin, A1C Johnny Walker, A1C Keith Lance, Sgt Leanne Hugeback. Wish all my assignments had been that good.  |

Sunny Zwei was my first assignment 1976-1978. I was assigned to 17th TRS Orderly Room and was a cheerleader for the Zweibrucken Warriors. Great Times and if any of you remember me I was with Mac (McKing) who worked in the 26TRW Orderly Room.  |

I was watching the Military Channel (My favorite) one day and seen Aircraft RF4C 372 now painted blue on permenant elevated display in front of some military Base hangar. That was a real kicker after all these years. 
I was a Crewchief at Sunny Zwei 1978-80 and had a very memerable blast there. Dave Linville was one of the Best 2nd shift Expediters that I can remember working for. Other good Flightline friends there were Jack Hartman, Roland Vega, Pappy Boynton, Don Davis (Daytime Expediter) and Parkbrau Phils to name afew. What a throw back in memories. |
