Hey Jim.
Firstly what an excellent looking rear (the van). I’m a member on the forum, currently working on my T5. Having just had a little baby I’ve been looking for what seems like a lifetime to convert the back into exactly what you’ve done!!!
The rails and 2 single seats really. If you find time and I know you probably receive hundreds of mails like this, could you point me in the right direction?? It would be hugely appreciated. Where to start looking??
Thanks for your time
Regards, Dan

I have to say that the evolution of your T4 from bike carrier to fully fitted out dayvan is amazing. I used to want the Chevvy van from The A Team as a child, now i want yours or something very similar. If and when I start my own T4 project, I may come to you for some advice.
All in all, one of the coolest vans I’ve ever seen.

Hi there,
Love your home page - all looks very adeventurous - bit like us. My husband and I are doing up our van finally. Loved your plastic moulded interior panels. where can we get them and are they expensive? do you have any tips for van renovations??? look forward to hearing back from you!!
Thanks

Hi I have been looking at Jimbos t4 vans evolution in to what can only be described as one hell of a vehicle, but I am interested in fitting the same seating arrangement in to a Toyota hi ace van.
So if you can help me out with a couple of questions;
· Where did you source the seats and floor rails from??
· What was it like to fit ?
· Do the seats have ISOFIX fittings for a Childs car seat??
Any help would be great,
Thanks

Hi Jumbo,
I am using this in desparation to contact you about the T4 forum. I tried to register but the PHP script crashed with something about being unable to send email because of being in debug mode.
There is no contact mechanism for a non-registered user so it’s a bit hard to report a problem with registration! The user name appears to be set up (GMB) but I can’t log on.

Wicked bike mate ? luvin the Ally tank and seat unit ? you must have the patients of a saint keeping all that clean ! I had a good look round your German website - would have post a pic of mine up there, but my German is about as good as my Swahili !

Have a good look at my Van page www.jimbosplace.co.uk from about half way down, is all the details of what the interior is and how I have fitted it. Very briefly, it?s a complete T5 interior which was not a cheap or easy option ? but it works a treat !
As for the Van for sale on my Forum, I will have a looky later, but sounds about right sort of money for that spec.
See you at the BBQ next month !

Hi Jimbo. We were having a good look at the outside of your van at Herts VW club show n shine - even voted for you!!!
Am after T4 van to camp in & viewed one today with Styleline interior like yours. What we need is a trpple seat / full with seats cum bed like yours. Where’s it come from? Any details welcome - cost, manufacture, where to get etc. Cos van we saw was v good (he’s asking £9,259 for 03, 49k miles, Styline interior, good Pakrika paint with just a couple of little dinks - wadays think?)It’s on T4 forum Nigel H.
Thanks, Steve. |
