I never would of taken the steps to apply to university as a mature studnet if it hadn’t been for the support and encouragement shown towards me on student nurse forum. I cant believe that 5 years later I am a fully qualified staff nurse! Thanks

| heh all im athird year nursing student due to qualify in 11 weeks (Eeekkkk) currently working inA&E and finding it so interesting. just wanna say to all my fellow nursing students to never give up! I kow its tough but its worth it in the end. Good luck to you all! X |

| Thanks for a wonderful site, I have been reading everything on it for mouths now as I am starting my course in September this year and looking forward to it, but just a bit nervous as I am a mature student at 44. Well I got there better late then never. |

I am a more mature nursing student, to qualify in Aug of this year. why is the last assignement always the hardest to write?
I have sat infront of this computer for hours and achieved absoloutley nothing. I have e-mailed my personal tutor, but they are not that great at getting back to you!
Can anyone give me any advice? My assignemtn is to do with reflection, using the Gibbs model, and utilising the NMC standards of proficiences.
I have supplied my e-mail adress, and would be SO grateful for any input.

Nursing is always what i have wanted to do, and i have my interview for university for the adult branch in June for intake in Januray *scary* 
Just wanted to say what a great site this is and the people on it! Reading the student nurses diaries have made me determined that nursing is what I really want to do and i can relate to some stories people have had on placement with my own placements.
