Steal away! I’m all for anyone mocking anime conventions. |

I’m sure it’s fine to answer your own guestbook!
***** I’m not sure if it’s kosher to reply in your own guestbook, but I’ll do it anyhow! Because I laugh in the face of convention! Especially Anime conventions! *****
HAR HAR HAR! I love that! I may steal it sometime.
No need to explain yourself for me. It was just an observation, and this is your space, afterall. I just thought I’d throw that out there. I’ve actually got a post for my own blog on different doula-related sites I visit (it’s in draft stages). I may have to do a compilation of good church & spiritual sites as well, and your link bar gave me the inspiration. While Christian, I’m a student of all paths as well. I love finding a good site that will teach me something new, that I don’t already have ingrained in my own doctrine.
Ah, well, I’m a link hound. Thanks for stopping by my blog, too. |

Anyhow, now that that’s over, thanks for dropping by, folk.
Ahavah, I appreciate your readership. I suppose a word of explanation is in order for my selection of good churches. First, that list is far from complete; it just contains a few of the very best churches I have been in that I have websites for. Second, I’m inclined to name Baptist churches as being the best (though I’ve been in and know of some very good ones with other labels, and though there have been some very, very bad Baptists) because of some of their doctrinal disctinctives. For instance, Baptists believe in Biblical authority (as opposed to Papal authority, or some contemporary prophet or messenger). Baptists historically hold to the separation of church and state (a case could be made that this is originally a Baptist concept, in fact). They also believe that a person should be saved and baptized before they can join a church, but that baptism does not save a person. They also generally hold that there ought to be no hierarchy of officials above the local church, telling it what it can and cannot do. They proclaim the priesthood of the believer -- saved people do not need to have someone else approach God for them, and they do not have to confess their sins to another person. I believe these distinctives are all pretty plainly taught in the Bible, and so most churches that I consider to be really good will be Baptist. Can’t (and wouldn’t want to) pound you into agreeing with me , but at least I can explain myself. Thanks again for stopping by and commenting. See you around, and good luck with NaNo! |

I expect I have been reading what you write and caring about what you do for longer than anyone else who reads this, and I still appreciate knowing about what’s happening and what’s important in your world.
Always with love and prayers, Mama |

Thanks so much for stopping by;) Well, well, well....I wanted to see if you still needed help with the guestbook but it looks like you’ve done quite well all by yourself! Nicely done!

Hello, Minister! I visit your site often, although I must admit that sometimes I can’t follow subjects I’m not all that familiar with. I still check in and see how you’re doing. Thought I’d drop you a howdy.
Only one suggestion; All of your "Good Churches" sites are Baptist! I love Baptists as much as the next, but it’d be nice to see some different flavors, too.
Take care!
Many Blessings,
Ahavah |
