Sure, the world must know all about what started the conflict, who escalated it and to what extent. But an anynomous site like yours do not seem to look with both eyes open. If you see a conflict from one side like this, even the atrocities of the Nazi regime against the Jews could be explained!
I truly admit that I don’t see the whole picture in this conflict. I also don’t think that a tiny country like Georgia would commit an act of such extensive violence as described against a province they’re trying to convince as their own, without knowing that the "russian bear" wouldn’t wake up. This is a terribly sensitive matter. I believe that there are five scoundrels in this whole story;
*The Georgian government for not being able to subdue any resistance in their provinces by diplomacy and last week over-reacting to a frequency where cities in South-Ossetia were mostly destroyed. That’s not "good-will" in any way to sub-due 70.000 citizens, and among them at most 10.000 separatist soldiers. At most! Since almost 18.000 of the 70.000 South-Ossetians are ethnical Georgians...
*The Russians, first by over-flying Georgian territory several times with war-planes and prepare roads, supply-routes and other stuff in order to be ready to attack Georgia. All these things only seemingly to test the reaction from the West. Then by over-reacting by attacking, bombing and conquerring cities far into Georgian territory. And after that, when they’ve signed the peace-treaty, refuse to live by it and return all their forces to the initial points according to the agreement.
*The Abschasians, letting foreign armies move through "their" territory in order to defeat their neighbor and former countrymen. And also joining in this offensive into a democratic republic’s territory.
*USA - who probably have been saying that they would support Georgia’s actions all the way, hence creating a foolish sense of secureness in the Georgian government that I can’t even imagine how they planted there. They must have duped them deeply if the Georgians actually dared to stand up against Russia in this way - if all intel is correct.
*UN - I haven’t heard a slightest beep from this peace-keeping organization other than ’X’-hundred South-Ossetians and ’Y’-hundred Georgians are now refugees or killed. No action at all to sieze the fighting and try to solve the conflict by civilized manners. Why having an organization engulfing millions of Rubel, Dollars, Euro etc. if they just shut up in a moment like this? And why at all keeping Russian soldiers as UN-Peace-keepers in a Russian-supported province who have broken off their bonds to the country they still politically are part of? This makes no sence at all!

This conflict has gone too far to just be erased and forgotten and everybody will be living happy after. I surely hope that the people accused above will see their fault and learn from it.
*A Georgian citizen, among most of Europe and USA will see this new threat from Russia. They’ll see that Russia still, as well as USA sometimes have done, use "Gun-boat policy" against their opponents - and take actions to avoid their army again at their territory!
*The russians will counter-react and see it from an all-russian eye. This eye will say that USA more or less ordered Georgia to destroy Tschinvali - and hence "the big Satan of the West" will again be hated and feared.
*EU will take actions as well economically as military to avoid and be able to deterr a conflict with Russia.

Any way - since my above info is blaming South-Ossetian separatists and Russia as well as Georgia and USA in this inlay, it’ll probably just live seconds before your propaganda censor activates it’s delete-button - nobody are allowed to have a free opinion - or?
