June 1969..we all headed down that road...some went to war...some went to school...some stayed at home...some traveled far away...over the years...reunions brought most of us back home...but the numbers dwindled as the years passed...2009 brought us to the use of the internet...it has been a wonderful tool to reconnect our class...the love and friendship has returned...and by the response of those that will attend...this website has been the key to our successful 2009...40th class reunion...in just a few days...we will all see each other again..tears of joy..smiles and laughter will fill the room...lets us all remember September 1965...this is where it all began....let us all enjoy September 2009..this is where it will continue....till the last classmate has passed...LOOK OUT STREATOR...one of the best classes from SHS will be coming home very soon...have a safe trip home everyone...see you at the Country Club...love..Marjie  |

Now I can’t get anything done around the house because I am on this site all the time reading something new about a fellow classmate, laughing until I almost pee myself, or reconnecting yet with one more lost classmate.  Hello all this web site is awsome. Looking at the friends that have passed reminds me how fragile life is! This is one thing i’ve known for years. Everyday is a gift to me. recently I was reminded me of that. I lost my best friend on July 5th. That was my mother. Looking at all those pictures of my classmates alot of them I remember and have memories of. One thing about memories they can not be taken away. Because they are your own personal memories. I have 2 very close classmates and one who I lost. I feel bad that she can not find it in her heart to forgive me. She is a precious friend. On that thought I have to get ready for work. Cannot wait until September to see everyone. Sandra |
