| Thanks for looking at the site, I have been contact with a co. in london, they have done a lot of work for me that I could not do for myself. I do have a lot of information on the bowron family, but can not get all to gether in one big lump.the biggest problem is back in time were records are hard to find, and are written in latin. or church records. and also the cost. joeph Martin. |

I am the Great grandson of Elias Marshall (1878)whose sister Alice married William Cowley and there our family trees cross. I have been researching my own family tree which has lead me to this fantastic website. Very many thanks for all your hard work. You’ve taken me back two more generations on the Marshall line. If you’d like any Marshall information, photos etc I’d be happy to add what I know.
Other family names in Gainsborough include Andrew and Lowther.

Thanks for having a look - make sure to come back regularly as I try to update on a frequent basis - in the last month I’ve added over 50 names!!

Hello got very excited for a moment! I have LOWES (Grandma Cora LOWES) and COULTHARD in my lines appear to be different ones though. My George LOWES 1819 was the son of Robert LOWES saddler and Elizabeth Johnson he was born Haydon Bridge Northumberland.
