I received the adorable vest and blanket you made for my little guy. Braidon is working with weights at school and now we can continue at home what thay have started. The denim vest is perfect and the cars blanket is just the cutest thing.
Thanks for all you do.

Hello Sarah,
I really liked both of the fabrics that I used for her vest and blanket, Special little lady’s printed on fabric, worn on a special little lady.
I really hope these help her and your family make things a bit easier for all.
Take care, and thanks so much for taking the time to leave me such kind words!

Hi Val, Just wanted to let you know how much we love the new blanket you made for our Madison. The angels on it look just like her. We also love the vest and can’t wait to try it out- the Angel Bears on it are going to be the talk of preschool! Thanks again for the work you do, the time and the love you put into it really shows!
p.s I put the blanket over Madie this morning and she was so calm just playing in one spot with her toys;)

Hello Laurette!
Well, I read your email and listened to your phone message and both times I was in tears.I am so very happy that again I have made a very small difference in a child’s life.Your email was very overwhelming and I have printed it out and have placed it on my work bench so that if I don’t think I have helped the children enough that email of yours will be there too remind me that I have in a small way.
I entered a contest for the" Mom Entrepreneur of the Year" I do not however think I will win but if I ever did I would be opening that store of my dreams.Voting closed on sunday so I have too wait until October too see who won in Ontario.I will be sure too let you know if I was lucky and will get to open my store! We have now added his picture of his blanket to our listings.
I will look very forward to the pic of him in his vest and I am thrilled he is sleeping great with his new blanket!!!
May God Bless you and your family and do not forget I am here if you ever need any help with questions.
Lots of Love,
Val |

Oh Val my little Alex is sleeping over tonight. He fell asleep at 9h20… and with his new blanket!!!!
The last time he slept over, it was 11h00 and he was not asleep yet.
Many thanks Val and I will let you know how it will go with the vest.
Your work is beautiful! … so well done!
My favorite is the blanket.
I was so very happy today when I received the parcel… so very happy.
May our God bless you and yours and give us the strength, the health and the faith to help our children. One day when Alex wears his vest, I will take a picture and send it to you.
If you lived closer I am sure that we would be friend.

Hello Meredith and Catie!
I am soooooo thrilled that Catie loves her new vest!!! You as well. I worked really hard on doing my own pattern for the children because I did not want them to stand out in class or out in public.People staring at these great children is something I just will never get used too I guess.I also wanted them so that they could wear a t-shirt or a turtle neck under them in the different season’s.
I have too admit something too you..........your email had me in tears. I so wish all the time I could do more for the children too help and all the time we are coming out with new ideas.
In the meantime, I will be working on a way for these children that do hit themselves (as my Katelyn used too do) to stop.
Yes, I plan on making these items until the day I can’t only because I have gone up to heaven to make them for the children who have passed.,
I will also keep you and your children in my thoughts and prayers.
One grateful sewer!

Hi Val,
I was just getting ready to email you. We love it!! Catie wanted it on right away and didn’t want to take it off for her shower! I love that it’s rice. Catie gets very upset and hits herself and throws herself against furniture and the floor. The workmanship is beautiful. We are soo pleased. I’ll be needing one in the future for my son and hope you’ll still be making them. Not that I am ashamed that my daughter needs a weighted vest but I love that it looks so "normal" and stylish. This is by far the best purchase we’ve made all year. We will keep your child in our prayers as well and hope all your family stays healthy. Thank you again for the love and hard work you put into such an important item for my child. Meredith |

Hi Lucie!
I must admit, that was the hardest blanket I have ever made.......I being a die hard Leaf fan and your son being an Ottawa Senator fan I just wanted to put some blue and white on there.
I am so glad it is working out for all of you.Just be careful when you are lugging that heavy blanket around, as I don’t want too find out that you pulled a muscle or have hurt yourself in some way.
I look forward too your reply when he gets the little something I made for HIM. I look forward to the battle of the Ontario Season too begin.I will be thinking of him!!!!
Take care,
Val |
