Hi Sue, I miss Vinny every single day. I miss his emails and most of all his phone calls. I only knew you and Vinny for about a year and a half but he was truly the best friend I ever have had.He did so much for so many, me included. I never knew about any of the things the VA was supposed to do and was wandering around in my life and never had any idea of what had really happened to me and all of us Vietnam Veterans.
I would have been out on the streets if not for you two. I know he is in a better place now but it still hurts so much. I am always there for you if you need anything. |

| I really miss the emails that Vinny used to send and our occasional talks. It must have been hard on him every time he talked to one of us to relive things that that probably should have been forgotten. I enjoy talking to all my Vietnam friends, but when I do it to much it is stressful. My wife says that she can tell when I have been communicating with veterans. I like others have lost friends, neighbors and school mates to Vietnam and will never forget them. Sue I hope time will heal the wounds that the passing of Vinny has caused. If I can help you I will. I read about Vinny on All.Military.com.
As the daughter of a WWII vet, the mom of an Army National Guardsman and a lifelong supporter of our troops and our vets,
the death of any of our warriors touches me. Each is precious. I am saddened that he is gone, but grateful that
a man like him LIVED.

| I didn’t really know Vinny, but it’s clear he had people who loved him and will miss him. Please accept my condolences on your loss. |

| Sue, my husband died in 1996 from agent orange. Vinny has been my lifeline many times on this long road out of PTSD and the aftermath of war. We live so long trying to help them sometimes we don’t know how to live for ourselves. I have walked in your shoes and I am here for you. I successfully fought the VA after 9 yrs and was paid $190,000.00 back to the day my husband died. I am here and will help you if you need it. Vinny never told me of his own suffering, he only cared about mine. You were the light of his life. I would like to be for you what Vinny was for me, my lifeline. You write to me when you are ready. I send my love and hugs. Mary Rogers |
