| I think that the proposition is a very interesting one. Esperanto is a good language, very logical, good for the mind and sufficiently easy to learn. |

Estas tre bona ideo, mi gratulas vin sed mi timas ke la eùropaj parlementanoj ne konscias ke la angla lingvo estas tre malfacila por tiuj kiuj ne estas anglaj do mi timas ke ili ankoraù volos ankoraù devigi la anglan kiu estas malghusta, ili ne devas devigi la anglan al la tuta mondo, ili devas rifuzi la anglan por la lingvo de Eùropo.

I am really pleased that Esperanto is finding its way in the EU, as it can promote all types of commiunications there in a very wide range of interests; economy, politics, literature, tourism, ...
I am sure that after EU, the whole world will use Esperanto as a common language, and that will help a lot for the prosperity of the mankind. |

I congratulate Deputy Ljudmila Novak for her courage to propose this excellent idea.
It would raise language awareness and make easier to study foreign languages to all students even those who are not gifted. It would promote EU multilingualism and encourage students not only to study ´big´ languages but also ´small´ languages or languages of neighbouring countries to better understand them and their culture in order to promote intercultural dialogue in Europe. It could become a common (first) foreign language of all Europeans, a personal adoptive language (PAL).
It would be worthwile to provide information on the successful pilot work under implementation in the UK the Springboard project (www.springboard2languages.org) ´language orientation teaching´ to all EU countries. It is based on the grammar of Esperanto and most frequently used words. Within the project some primary schools are doing short courses under the scientific supervision of the University of Manchester. It would be very useful if the UK be able to share its good practice with other EU member countries.

Nome de Esperanto-France, mi dissendis gazetaran komunikon pri via propono. Estas okazo ligi la vorton "esperanto" kun la Parlamento, dank’al propono farite ne de esperantistoj, sed de parlamentano mem. Ĝi aspektas do multe pli serioza.
