I have taught first grade forever or so it seems- just getting on board with the web page though. I love yours though and inspire to have mine like yours one day. I was in Costa Rica this summer for a week. What a beautiful country with amazing people. We stayed in Grecia and worked nearby/ |

| This site was so inspiring. I want to do a class website and don’t know where to start, but this is definitely something I want to strive to achieve in the end! Thanks for sharing. |

Thank you so much for sharing your web page. I am teaching a class this year for the first time - happens to be first grade. Until now I taught literacy in resource room. Your web site has been an amazing guide for me to set up my classroom and scheduling. You are so organized and creative. Thank you for giving me and others like me so much guidance.

| WOW! This is my second year teaching first grade. I love first grade! Looking at your site was great because I could relate to every aspect of it. I teach in North Carolina but it looks as if our curriculums and expectations are a lot alike. My communication to parents resembles yours quite a bit, but I love how detailed yours are. I hope it would be ok if I borrow some of your parent communications for next year. That’s been my biggest struggle; trying to help parents understand the high expectations of first grade as compared to Kindergarten and how much they impact their child’s reading achievements along with our efforts in the classroom. I also love your links. I have a small webpage and I would love to add some of the info. and links from your parents corner. It’s all GREAT! I know it had to take a lot of time. Good job! |

Your site is very, very nice and your job is great too !
I am Isabelle, from France. I teached Fisrt Grade ("Cours Préparatoire" in France)for almost 15 years.
Our classrooms are so poor when i see yours.
I do love your tips to help children for writing procedures. I shall take inspiration to build my own.
Thanks a lot !
PS ; I have one question ; Are you alone in your classroom when you teach or is there another adult to help you ?
Thank you again !

| Great site. I really like how you introduced your class with pictures that they drew of themselves. Cute! First Grade is Fantastic!!! |
