I enjoyed having your resale store and your recycling center.
Your store was my favorite place to shop. I liked that you sold everything but clothes. When my husband needed something for this old craftsman house, you seemed to have it. Even when I really didn’t need anything I liked to go in and see the people there. It was a big part of this community and will be missed. On Tuesday I was on 10th street talking with a friend in front of his home and noticed several people walk up with their cans and bottles to turn in. They stood there for a while(some longer then others) with a puzzled look. Then went on their way. Very sad. I thought to myself that this town is regressing instead of going forward. Originally I came from a town that didn’t recycle and it was terrible. I pray that someday you will open your doors again. Keep on recycling. Kathleen Peace in Humboldt |
