Hi Ella,
I was creating a reggae music for my on line music library and was ripping what I thought was Dennis Brown CD and look at the artist and it was Maxi Priest CD which was sounding good to me and I said to myself let me go to Youtube and find out who is this person...low and behold the song "Close To You" was a song I heard on the radio in the eighties and fell in love with it...never knowing who the artist was;)...I’m glad I did check it out and his songs are great...He’s part of my collection

Hi Ella,
I think what you have created as a devoted fan is phenomenal! It is a great acheivement and shows true dedication to the artist! As a Maxi Priest fan myself, I can well appreciate your sticking with him through the years, he has never failed his fans nor audiences!
I do have one request though, out of your song selections, why not the one I keep hearing on the London Reggae Station, "Children A Cry? It is more political that most of his repertiore, however it is well worth being noted and added to your collection!

Geweldige site heb je gemaakt zeg! Echt heel compleet
Ben ook al jaren fan van Maxi, een poosje uit het oog(en oor) verloren, maar nu weer helemaal in the picture. Wat een geweldige stem heeft die man toch ook! (de geweldige looks zijn ook een leuke bijkomstigheid trouwens...haha)
Ben bezig mijn muziekcollectie wat uit te breiden wat betreft vinyl en cd’s. Pas nog een originele vinyl gekocht van Intentions, daarmee is het voor mij jaaaaren terug mee begonnen toen ik het album op cassette had geleend van de bieb...
