I am a non-BPD (though plenty messed up in my own way). 18 years ago I told the women I loved more than anyone in the world, who was calling me up trying to make amends, that I never wanted to see her again. I didn’t know about BPD & just thought she enjoyed crushing my soul. I only found out a few months ago what happened to her. she descended back into alcoholism & drug abuse, hooked up with a serial batterer, & died alone, homeless, desperate & addicted 10 years ago (overdose or suicide, not sure).

Wherever you are Pam, please forgive me. I will try to be kinder to people in the future.

this site is a wonderful resource for those of us trying to understand.

I am so glad I found your site - containing a wealth of information on BPD with lots of links. Please continue the good work you are doing. I am very grateful!

Looking at your site as a non-BPD, I amazed at all the info you have assembled for both BPD’s and non-BPD’s. I have been in a relationship with a BPD for over five years. It has definitely been a trying time for both of us. Somtimes it is like going to hell and back. However, your site gives me hope that there hope that there are effective treatments out there. That there is hope for both of us. Thanks for all your hard work on a site dedicated to a mental illness that has been misunderstood and often neglected by mental health professionals.

Hi. I am a professional - and I loved your site. Yes, I knew about Borderline, but I was made aware of some new treatments of which I was unaware. Thank you, and good work!
