Hi Markus, everyone’s fine over here. I’m currently writing my final thesis at university and am pretty busy with it, so I didn’t have much time to do updates lately. MUCKMAN is basically finished now (though Brett is still doing a little polishing on the final cut) and the first screeners have already been send out. I’m gonna post an update soon and add a link to the first review of the movie (which is in French, unfortunately, so I can’t read it... but the guys said they liked the flick). Thanks a lot for your interest in Brett’s work & All the best, Tobi

Just managed to check out "They Bite" and thought it was a lot of fun. Keep up the good work your movies are very entertaining and i love the old school stop motion effects that you use in most of your films.

How about a question and answer FAQ for Brett about his movies on this site? Several of his interviews on the internet are informative and responses on the stop motion forums are great but some of us would like to hear more about the trials and costs of making these features. It is an inspiration (or a deterrent) to making experimental projects. I’d love to hear more about the distribution!

I don’t know if Brett Piper actually reads this, but I have to say what an incredible inspiration his work is to micro-budget movie-makers. I first found his work while watching the (too) little seen THEY BITE!, and have since tried to collect each movie as it’s released. I would still kill to see WAR-WOLF, as I’m a huge werewolf fan, and it just sounds damned fun. Whatever you are working on, Mr. Piper, I will be there to put my hard earned cash down. I always enjoy the commentaries on your work. If you’re ever down Texas way, let me know. I’ll buy the beer and steaks!
