oooo okay.
I understand the scary movie bit. I was terrified for weeks after watching, get this, Earnest Scared Stupid. I was afraid to turn off the lights, or go outside at night for monthes.
Then I eventually got over it, and now watch horror movies and laugh at them, because that won’t happen to me.

Brigid: ^_^ Yeah, I actually watch movies and shows about ghosts and spooky stuff pretty regularly now. Funny thing is, it became a lot less scary once I figured out ghosts are real. Wierd.

I hold tru to the belief that it is far more fun to play a spot than watch, and that in school everyone is a bloody ball hog, so even if you are "playing" you’re more or less watching, cause people are snobs and won’t play the game as it was meant to be played.
So I totally understand her feelings on what’s going on....... but I have to ask, what happened to being over at the girls house? She had such bad vibes, whatever happened? Was her fear un-grounded? Or did something dreadful happen off-screan? I’m confoosedied.

Brigid - Sorry, I guess that was kinda hard to put together. Actually, the worst thing that happened was in the last panel of January 25th strip. The noises were supposed to indicate that they were watch a horror movie. Maybe not such a big thing to some people. But I had nightmares about those alien clowns and their cucoons of doom for months after that.

With what you have told me about your child hood, that play ground must have seemed like paradise.

Fred Gallagher (sp?) is the creator of MegaTokyo. The anime-isq webcomic that helped to allow webcomic’s to make the transition from kinda a cult thing, to an actual culture.
You should really know him, not so much cause MegaTokyo is that great (it’s entertaining sure. But I haven’t read it in ages) but simply because he helped to lead webcomics, especially those done in an anime fashion into the light.
Right then, with that said;
I do enjoy yer comics. They make me smile, and I do agree that I wish there were more updates. I have a fan-art for you that I’ll be sending, hopefully in the next week or so, soon as I finish the colouring.
I do love the comic, it makes me shake my head, and I’m going to be adding it to my links section on my page..... if for no other reason then I can stop googling yer pages when I want to catch up on the latest pages/strips.

Thank you so much. ^_^ I look forward to seeing your fanart. (I think I ran into a MegaTokyo comic book at the library. I’ll check it out along with the website. Thanks!)

I love that you put the rating at the top of the page along with why you rated it that way! Comics not putting an accurate rating where it can be seen is one of my pet peeves.

I am still loving MQC. I just think it’s so cute and your artwork matches the tone perfectly.

Thanks. I did that partially as a joke. Rating are so subjective and prone to personal interpretation that they’re almost useless. I don’t think the content will ever get worse than what you might find in a typical PG rated movie, but going strictly by the definitions given at the adoptable site... good grief.

I check this comic every few days. And it just keeps getting better and better!

Brigid: Thanks! ^_^

Thanks, Dr. Smiles. (Though I don’t know who Fred Gallagher is.)

I probably would update daily if I thought I could keep up the pace. (Aaaiiiiyaaaaaa!)
