Dear Sister Claire, I come to you with sad news. My beloved "Humble-Mumble", the boarder collie, 14 years of age will have to be put to sleep Monday morning. He is having massive seizures, I just came back from taking him for a ride to St. Adalbert’ cemetery. He always loves to see the geese, ducks and dears there were my mother and father and family are sleeping in Gods love.
I cannot remember if I wrote you, but We also lost Shamus our beloved "Rat boy" in 2010.
In December of 2010 we adopted a new baby, "Ira-Bosco." He gives us so much joy after we lost Shamus.
Please pray for us to our beloved St. Francis.
I am hoping you are in good health and also Brother Michael.
May God bless you always and the mission of Brother Michael’.
Best regards,
Michael Mazur |

Brother Mike, wanted to add our precious cat, Penelope (Pippi Longstocking) to the pet cemetary but can’t get in to do that. Our Pippi passed away quietly and painlessly, which we had prayed for, 3 weeks ago. She was over 23 years old and was a wonderful, loving, beautiful companion for all of us. She actually came to our home before our youngest son was born and he was 23 in October so they grew up together. When I knew the time was growing near, I wrapped her in a towel as it was cool outside that day, took her out so she could feel the breeze against her face and hear the leaves swooshing. When we lived in NH, where we got her, she was an outdoor/indoor cat (indoor in the winter of course). But when we moved to GA, we decided it best to keep her indoors, so I wanted her to feel that air and smell the fragrances of outdoors. She responded to that although she was very weak. Each morning 3 days before her passing, she wasn’t moving much, but when you would touch her or rub her head or talk to her, she would begin to purr. We all loved our Pippi (Penelope) - she gave us that unconditional love, played for years, slept with our son, or with my husband and I and for the past 3 years had slept under our bed. Farewell, sweet Penelope, and I know that all our pets that you had around you, Volka, Bear, Simon (our dogs+) and Chrystal another cat, met you as you crossed the Rainbow Bridge. You are now at rest outside under our beautiful magnolia tree because you loved outdoors and loved trees.
We will miss you, our true furry friend.
