Butch, Just wanted you to know that" This and That" is very, Very, Very good. I remember working at the Police Dept. on Bloody Caddo back in the 70’s and it was still pretty rough. It was not as rough as earlier days but we had stabbings and a few shooting there. I also remember getting run off the road by Birdie Pruitt. Bless her heart, she was a grand person. This brings back some good memories.

Hi Butch,
You have a great website and I am enjoying looking through the newsletters. I am researching the Hutchins family. James Robert Hutchins was a cousin of my great-grandfather, James Alexander Hutchins, who was born in Taylor Co. Texas. Their grandfather was James O. Hutchins, a doctor, who was born near Natchez, Mississippi and moved around a lot but finally settled in Paris, Lamar Co. Texas. I found several mentions of Bob Hutchins in your newsletters and I hope I can find a copy of the book "Gunman’s Territory" to read soon. I’ll be checking back now and then for any news on the Hutchins family.

Hi Butch
Think you might be the same Butch who use to work for the Ambulance service in Ardmore back in the 1980"s. Don’t know if you remember me but I worked for the Ardmore Police Dept. with Larry Cavner- Robert Muskgrove & Larry Hignight. Just peddling around and came across you on the enternet. Will keep in contact you and have a happy fourth.

Howdy Butch and Jill !
This is a really great website. My wife found it while looking for info on the four men who were hung there in 1909. My father believed that his Dad was one of the men who sent the killers into "indefinite suspension". I was born in Seminole in 1936 but we moved away. Your friends Leroy and Jimmie McDaniel are related to us through my Mom’s family (Robinson) and my sister has visited with them at their home there. They’ll likely remember Nancy Dobry. Best of wishes to you both, and I will continue to read this very interesting site.
