What a great web site! Here, at Five Towns College, we have our WFTU Radio Theater project. Our students broadcast OTR scripts in the time honored method from one of our audio studios. No sampled SFX are used; the students create and manufacture those effects. If I may, the next WFTU Radio Theater broadcast will be announced here. Thanks for this magnificent service you’ve afforded me and my students.

Wow - what memories. It brings back evenings huddled on the couch in our family home, waiting to hear the intro to Inner Sanctum. Marvelous fun, and it left so much to the imagination. It’s nice to revisit some of those moments from 55-60 years distant. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Great resource! Was wondering if you might know a popular radio program that aired in August of 1940? Preferably a mystery... Want to include it in a novel I’m writing set during August of 1940.... thanks!

Great site! Here is some additional information that you might be interested in; Ed Bolton meticulously re-creates the early "lost" Amos and Andy episodes from the original scripts. Most of these famous radio shows were either not transcribed or no recording survives. The episodes are being presented in chronological order and Mr. Bolton does a very good job of preserving history, in my opinion. The show airs weeknights on WBCQ Shortwave both over-the-air and online. www.wbcq.com/

You have a wonderful site here Robert.

I wonder how many visitors realize just how much effort this is and how long it took you to upload all these shows.

Well Done !!

You are indeed one of the TRUE SHARERS of OTR.

Best Regards

Art

Great site. Am enjoying Nightwatch.
Any chance you can locate ’You Asked For It’ (1950–1959)?
