I saw this "trouble with time travel" a while back, I was interested as I have always been interested in the concept of Time Travel, and love Doctor Who and suchlike. When I was younger I even had a time travel story that I was going to write one day - still haven’t written it! But I came across this again tonight when searching the net and lo and behold I see that one of the characters is "Steve Schooley"!! Thats my name!! I wasn’t born in Alaska and I didn’t live with seals, but I was born in a little seaside resort called Bognor Regis in West Sussex England - I have lived in New Zealand since 1985 and my kids have grown up there. I had to sign the guestbook as my namesake is "famous" and it is a real coincidence that I am really interested in time travel and loved the short film - I believe it can happen!!

Signed a New Zealand Steve Schooley

An interesting flick, I saw the page referrenced in the webcomic "Something Positive"

Now if I can remember the mid-50’s Sci-Fi story with a similar theme, but involving a bag of cash and ’reaching’ into the future and squashing oneself to ’save’ the cash.. Have to think about that one..

Gotta love that closing line.

I’d like to tell you what I thought of it but I can’t see the movie? Neither firefox nor internet explorer do anything when I go to the page... Perhaps put a guide up for those of us not using whatever you are (is it a mac?)

Dig. It. Your movie is totally dug. As an English Teacher I appriciate the story structure and I intend to make writing a film part of my lesson plan for next year. As an aspiring actor I can only say, "Put me in your next movie!".

... you know, if you plan on being in Mississippi any time soon.

Why don’t they just send something five minutes into the future/past instead of several days?

Wow, that was a brain-teaser! It played like something Heinlein would have put together (and yes, that’s a compliment). Came over from Randy Milholland’s Something Positive site -- he said I’d have fun, and he was right (he didn’t specifically mention the earlier film -- one has to discover its’ significance on their own). Do keep up the good work, and congratulations on all those Film Festival wins!

Most excellent movie, dude!

Seriously, I liked it. Wondering who did the music; I liked that too.

Hey! Got a chance to catch some of this at Wicked Faire! Looked good from the little bit I saw (sorry, life prevented me from sticking around). Hope I can find time, and a way, to catch the rest at some point!

Good luck!

-Dave

PS. Got engaged recently! Talk to ya later!
