Hi, great site. I am hopin to get an ATV soon, so much out there to see and your site shows that. Anyhow, was wondering where the Buck Run Mine is? I am a photographer and would love to shoot the outside of it. Give me an email if you could. Thanks!!

| The heck with the toy’s, love the Boston. Lost mine 12/5/2005. Own an ’87 corvette. He and I rode out a couple of times just under that very respectable 160+ with just exhaust and air foil. Gotta love it. KM/BTB 150+ |

I just bought a 78 kawasaki 1000 ltd, with 18000 klicks. Owner told me it had original pipes, other have argued they have be changed. But if yours are original, mine look the same as yours, so I guess the owner has told me the truth. I am really impressed about you site, I knew the bike had good power, but 109 and 1/4, I guess these are good working bikes, esp for 1978.

Hi!
I stumbled along your webpage looking for Shamokin PA information. My parents grew up in Trevorton and Shamokin. My grandfather (Col. Darwin Feese) use to own "Feese Sales" in Trevorton. I believe that Catawissa (spelling?) bus line took over the old building following his death. It was nice to view some of the scenery in your pictures that I remember as a kid. We use to hike up the mountain to where the old trolley line ran. I recall some of the old strip mines and took the Glen Burn Collery tour back in the late 60s early 70s.
I also enjoy motorcycles. I have a 1994 Harley Davidson Heritage Softail. I was also a fan of the Japenese bikes. I had a 1974 Kaw 400, Kaw 1975 H2, and a 1984 Honda V65 magna. You have a very cherry Corvette. It looks very nice.
Take Care and Safe Driving / Riding!

| I also had a blue Fiat 850 as well as being a ham (KE4IDU). I bought it new in 1972 when I got out of the Army. I traded it in to that big car dealership in Allentown PA. in 1973 (I think it was Langhorn)just before the first "Gasoline Shortage". I sure missed that 40 mpg back then and now. Since I sold my blue Fiat in PA and you live in PA, is there a chance it is the same one? Mine had a rotary key switch on the side for an alarm I installed and a hole in the front firewall area. I had an old Motorola tube type of 6 meter radio in the nose. Progress line or Pre-Progressline type. Bill |

In 1975, I bought a blue-colored Fiat 850 Spyder for $900.00 while I was stationed at Fort Bliss (El Paso), Texas. I loved the little car. I had the motor completely rebuilt for about $1,000.00. I never ran out of gas in that car. Although the car was 6 years old, folks thought it was brand-new. I had a ball in it.
In about 15 minutes, I could remove the 4-cylinder engine with my bare hands. I’d take it out just to clean it. That’s the way all cars ought to be designed. My only gripe about my Fiat 850 Spyder was the sheet metal rusted too easily because of Kentucky’s humidity. |
