Great! That’s the ticket.. just keep pluging away at it. Don’t know how many hours I kept tinkering with WME til I finally adjusted for the best overall performance. Good luck and when you get your feed going let me know the address and I’ll check in! Dale

Wish I could help you out on that one, but not familar with Expression Encoder or Scannercast. Frankly, I didn’t know there was a better version of MS encoder, I’ll have to check it out both the encoder and Scannercast! Thanks, Dale

Thanks for the quick reply, I downloaded Microsoft Expression Encoder 3. Where would my publishing point be. I’m using ScannerCast now to send my tags & audio to RadioRefence, I have a HTML code for windows media player but can’t seem to get the video from here to there??

Hi Kevin and thanks for the compliment! In the Butel software, there is a dropdown called "virtual conrol", select that and your scanner display will appear on your monitor. Now, you’re halfway there. Next step, inside WME there is a selection for screen capture, select it, then choose "region of screen" and it will let you actually drag a box around the area you want WME to see, which is the scanner display. There is a small check box that says something about a flashing border. Select it too so when you are done making your box the outline blink. Then you can drag the virtual control area up, down, sideways, etc. to position it exactly where you want it to fit. Hope that made sense, just experiment a little with it and you’ll do fine. Again, thanks for visiting the page! Dale

I like how you’ve streamed your meta tags on the player from the scanner control software, If you don’t mind me asking how did you get the tags from your BuTel Software on to the media player? Job well done!

Thanks, Russell! Why don’t you be the first and set up that scan from Barth/Brown Co’s. I need to hear what’s going on in my old stomping grounds ;-) Dale

Thanx for your work on this!
