I heard tonight that Norm has died and it is so sad. I only met him a couple of times, but he struck me as a really genuine, humble man.

Of course, he let it all out in his guitar playing, which meant so much to me over the years. Weirdly, I was only thinking this morning of how his solo kicks in so well after the line "turning gold into rust, faith into dust and love into lust" on ’The Prize’. Superb. I’m really sorry to hear he’s gone.

I never knew his family, but he mentioned his son (John?) in conversation in the ’70s. Condolences to all his family in what must be a really tough time.

Only heard the sad news recently, I remember Norm from school, bringing his guitar into class and serenading us all. Never got to see him in his band, which I believe are brilliant.
Rest in Peace Norm, you were too young to die. Condolences to all of his family.

I saw Norman on a number of occasions, with the Mighty Flyers, Alwyn Wall, Larry Norman and with his own band. He was an outstanding musician, a great vocalist, and a nice guy! A privaledge to have seen him "live". I send my prayers for all his family and friends.
