Diana, I have just been looking at your profile and see that you are a fellow Cancerian like me, like the country side (which is where I have just moved to from Shefield to Lincolnshire) and enjoy Haunted walks (we have one in Epworth) and of course love the 60s
You are always welcome to visit this neck of the woods anytime, and enjoy a glass or two in our country pubs.

Hey Linda great to hear of a fellow Canuck! Do get in touch via email and let me know where this glass of red happens |

Diana, what an amazing radio programme i listen to this when driving home from work, and when i arrive home I then tune in on my home radio. The 60s sounds bring back alot of memories when I was a child growing up listening to this type of music it sends shivers down my spine.
Long may you carry on presenting this and thank you for playing my request on Saturday 7/1/2012 of the late Kathy Kirby Secret Love, I loved it.

| I just love listening to you on BBC Radio Manchester. It just somehow flows. Time you had your own show if you wanted it. As a devotee of Beswick, (who wants to wake up happy every morning?), Heather, (like listening to your big Sis), Mike Shaft and Eamon and Jimmy, (well alright I’m pretty eclectic, but they are funny), time we had the Diana Luke programme. Best wishes for 2012, and hope that you will be on BBC Radio Manchester a great deal more. You’d be on my listening list!! Wayne |

Hi Diana,
My wife, Nancy, and I, listen to the Saturday night programme almost every week and enjoy a nostalgic sing along to some of the records.
I have had on my thinking cap and come up with some of the records we used to sing along to, all those years ago and before we were married and wonder, if it was possible, if you could play some of the records-sometime in the future-to help us while away these long winter nights.
If it is not possible to play any of the following, it does not matter but what does matter is that you keep on coming, over the radio waves, to brighten up our lives.
Thank you for all the past programmes and we hope you continue to communicate with us in the coming New Year.
Have a lovely Christmas and a happy New Year.
John and Nancy, Royston, Barnsley, South Yorkshire.

| Great to see Diana is still going strong! I used to listen to her evening show when I was in my mid-twenties (probably on Viking) in 1986, and found her voice and show great for unwinding. Always interesting, and for "local" radio Diana was unusually intelligent and professional. |

Hi Diana,
Its strange, the way things sometimes happen. Last night I was out on my own rather late for me, and on the way home I caught your late night/early morning programme on BBC Radio Humberside, one of our local stations. What a brilliant show, that kept me company in the hour or so that it took to get home.
It gets better.... when I did get home, one of the first things that Barbara said to me was "Ive been listening to a great radio programme presented by Diana somebody". When I told her that Id also tuned in on the way home it was a cosmic moment. Needless to say we are converted and will be listening in every Saturday and Sunday nights from now on.
We were both thrown by your accent at first. Having lived in Ontario for 9 years we both detected the softness of the Canadian accent, and having visited your website this morning, all is now clear. From 1966 to 1975 we lived in Scarborough, Toronto for 3 years and then in Newmarket (about 30 miles north on Highway 11) for 6 years. So weve been back in the UK pretty much as long as you.
Anyway..... enough of this rambling. Thanks for a great, so easy to listen to show. Best wishes from you 2 latest fans.
Take care. Trevor and Barbara |

Hi Diana,
I found your show one Saturday night in 2009 quite by accident when I put the radio on in my caravan in Thirsk when there was nothing on the TV and now I would’nt miss your show whether we are at Thirsk or at home in Sunderland when I listen on-line.
As well as the music which I LOVE it also makes me think of my much loved Canadian family who emigrated back in the 70s and are settled in and around Niagara Falls.
You really are one WONDERFUL person and our best wishes to you and yours.
