You may remember me as compere from the suttonway club didnt know you retired but you were the ultimate all round entertainer and i wish you well in your retirement .im at the cleveland club in hull now formaly known as pearsons and still batting on at 69 but loving it .we have a vacant date on june 11 and would like your lad on cos he is so tallented cant think were he gets that from. Hi Duggie, Only just found out you have now retired. For many years we made a point of coming to Bridlington every year sometimes twice since 1995 from our hometown of Nottingham and what happy memories myself and Norma hold of you at The Half Moon, The Marine Bar and other venues. I can honestly say you made our hoilday complete every time down those years.
I do not think coming to Bridlington will ever be the same again for us now. Norma says thanks for always remembering one of her favourites,Billy Fury.

We have lots of fond memories from our family holidays at South Shore Holiday Camp, made more memorable due to yourself and ’Penny Arcade’ which is our Family Anthem. Plus my mum won ’Miss South Shore 1986 and we still have the photos with you on them. You are a legend!!!! Step up and Play!!!!!!!! Thanks for the happy memories x |
