This has been a very special time for us. Our daughter Jane marrying Nathan at Saliente monastery on 22nd, they went off on their honeymoon to Valencia and Barcelona as we came here on 25th. They are now returning to their home in Sydney, whilst we have stayed here, returning to our home in East Yorkshire tomorrow morning 30th.
But tonight has been our 45th wedding anniversary. You have made a special, wonderful meal for us tonight. It has shown your culinary skills and your competence as hosts to their very best advantage.
We think you have all the ingredients needed for a very successful life here � empathy with your guests; an uncompromising commitment to high standards, an understanding of and sympathy with the Spanish culture and traditions of which you are now, happily, a part, a strong ethic for hard work and a cheerful, optimistic approach to your great adventure.
We wish you well and hope we meet again. We really appreciate your help in turning this special time for us into something really memorable.

Hej Anouschka and Johan,
Thank you for your kindness and the nice days we have had here in Casa Espalanda.
2,5 week were not too much for us. Niguelas was placed just right for us, the coast to the south and the higher mountains to northeast, so we could change between the busy life at the coast one day and walking in the mountains the next. We had some nice evenings in your little town enjoying to see the life of the local people.
The dinner you served us last night was excellent, maybe Michelin should drop by!
We will recommend Casa Espalanda to our friends next time they are traveling to this part of Europe and we are sure we will be back.
