Just found your site. Will be placing order soon for a slide for my M-1 carbine.
I’m retired Navy and logged many an hour on watch with a carbine. |

two of my favorite rifles. Your History of the M1 Garand
said Effective Range; 440 yds.
The M1 Garand was my best shooter,in 1966 at Fort Douglas,
Salt Lake City,Utah, I shot at 600 yds. grouping of 10" in a 12" bull, using just the peep-site. Recorded by S/Sgt.Bowen, S/Sgt.Kittrell and S/Sgt Nowell. I was told with a scope I could easily qualify for Sniper. The next several years I’ll
leave it to your imagination. |
