I can’t believe George is blaming his wasteline on the Gongoozlers diet,
proves there are evaders out there yet to be caught............although intelligence gathering is a good excuse.

John and Jen all the best,
Avril, I look forward to the new experience ( is canoedeliveries.com really available).

It certainly looks as though John and Jenny have been the best of hosts on the Gongoozlers Rest and our friend Avril will be meeting some great new people whilst carrying on the fine tradition of a warm welcome and good food! So Avril we look forward to our first big breakfast, all the best in your new venture xx

End of an era, the end of the world more like, Gongoozlers will not be the same without your friendly banter and abuse!
See you on the cut and I will have the kettle on for you... enjoy your retirement.

Well! It really is the end of an era with John and Jenny retiring although Jenny must be much younger than John. Fiona, Cameron, George, Ella and I wish you both a long and happy retirement. Thanks for all the great food and chat over the last 6 years since we bought our Barney Boat. Very Best Wishes, Ken & Co

Well, we reckon that we must have had at least 100 visits to Gongoozlers in the last 5 years since we bought our Barney boat, Melanie Jane. The original idea was that we would enjoy breakfasts aboard Gongoozlers whilst Ken was renovating the galley. The galley was finished about 4 years ago but we’ve yet to get out of the Gongoozler habit! Its all John and Jenny’s fault. Even Ella (3 on 29 June 2009) has her favourite seat on board and loves the food. Thank you John and Jenny for many great meals and many more to come. Best wishes. Ken, Fiona, Cameron, George and Ella.
