Hi Avril,
Just finished scoffing the scrumptious bacon and mushrooms sarnies - wonderful! Great to see you again and glad that Gongoozler’s is living up to your expectations. Hope to see you again in the spring - keep walking (I will if you will)!
Best Wishes, Carol and George and Molly! |

In preparation for a lightning-quick, 4-day, first-ever visit to your fair land and prior to even crossing the big Pond, this Colonial was strongly urged to check out your wonderfully-unique establishment. With my English hosts’ assistance, we took a leisurely drive up from Byfield on July 26 and were able to easily locate the Gongoozlers. Although we arrived at 14h30 and thus had only thirty minutes to sample the cafe’s quirky appeal, everyone in our party agreed that the food was delicious and reasonably-priced in a one-of-a-kind venue; a desperately-needed change from the bland and instantly-forgettable ’chain’ restaurants that plague our part of the World. Everything considered, it was an exceptionally-cool, if all-too-brief experience and all going well, I eagerly look forward to another visit on my return to the Midlands.

Hi there
Loved your website - what a brilliant idea and I hope to visit sometime soon. I found your address on a leaflet in our Clubhouse - MWYC at Hatton, near Warwick.
I am Editor of our monthly Newsletter ’Loudhailer’ and have a 30ft Sea Otter narrowboat (aluminium) having sold my steel boat last year - too much work now I am getting on a bit!
All the very best of luck to Avril and her crew!
Yours sincerely
Angela Richards
