Did you know that many people find their dream job because a good friend or colleague referred them?
I am a recruiter for 3M Company working with our Specialty Materials Division on an Oil & Gas Project that involves our Scotchlite Glass Bubble microspheres.
We are looking for an experienced engineer to work for 3M at our Houston Texas location.
The ideal candidate will have downhole experience within the oil & gas industry working with cementing operations, drilling operations or well stimulation and enhanced recovery. The bottom line is that this person must have a Ph.D. or equivalent expertise in petroleum engineering, material science, chemical engineering or chemistry related to Petroleum Exploration & Production.
I can provide a detailed job description upon request.
Please contact me by phone or email and reference "3M Houston Scotchlite Project"

47. Rocky Mtn. Rendevous Job Fair - 2006-07-28 13:55:02 |
The 6th annual Rocky Mountain Rendezvous (RMR) job fair is scheduled for Oct 1-2, 2006 on the University of Wyoming campus, Laramie Wyoming. This job fair is intended to bring together geoscience employers and students for each’s benefit. The majority of companies that recruit are from the petroleum industry, but last year we had environmental and mining companies participate. To learn more about the RMR please visit our website;
aapg.gg.uwyo.edu/RockyMtnRendezvous/index.htm
The RMR is promoted by a number of professional geoscience organizations, including AAPG, the Rocky Mountain Section of AAPG, GSA and SEG. Last year we had about 60 students and 24 companies. Students who come to our job fair, as well as recruiters, comment favorably that there is much more one on one time at the RMR than at other job fairs. This year more than 60 companies have inquired about participating. WE NEED STUDENTS. This is a really good opportunity for students to promote themselves and get a job. Companies include those from the supermajor group down to 1-2 person consulting firms. Please encourage your students to participate. Although regionally it is logistically easier for Rocky Mountain geoscience students, in the past we have had students from all over the country attend. Companies are also interested in engineering students- so please pass this onto any engineering colleagues you may have. Regards, Randi Martinsen |
