Grant, I would love to know if you have any update on Effie, wife? of Jeffrey Crowley (b c1700). What do you think her surname was? Some say NEARNE AND others say EARLY. There seem to be more that lean toward EARLY, and that she is d/o Thomas, the s/o John Early. What is your opinion?
My husband is a GGgrandson of James Isham Crowley, s/o James who was s/o Samuel and Eliz Strong.
I’ll be glad to share any info I have.
Ann Thurman

Grant,
I am a descendent of Jeffrey Crowley. My father was Walter J. Crowley and my grandfather was Elic (Alexander) Crowley. I really enjoyed this site. I was wondering if you might have some additional information or pictures that you could share with me. I would deeply appreciate it.
Thank You,
Janet

Finally got on your web. Great. Wish we could find out the truth of Jeffery. Maybe someday, huh? I guess I am like Forest, always being an Ariel Fan, but I am leaning toward Sir Ambrose and his son Benjamin for some reason, altho his son Samuel is pretty strong. Just me talking, Sue

I am looking for the parents of Andrew Jackson Crowley, born May 1837 in South Carolina, died 1912 in Chesterfield Co., SC. In the 1800 SC census there is only one Crowley, William and in the 1830 census of Chesterfield Co. there is a Benjamin Crowley. Do you know if any of your Crowleys ever lived in South Carolina?

Carol Harpe Moody,
Statesville, NC
