| Thanks for a really informative and useful website. Based largely on information gleaned from your site, I haver been the happy owner of a blue and green 1994 ZZR1100D2 for over a year now and it’s been fantastic. I paid 1700 for it and I now have it standing me about 3k but for that I have basically a new bike. It took me to southern England last winter in the snow. It took my girlfriend and I to the south of France in 35 degrees and then the Isle Of Man for three weeks. It’s all day long comfortable and it’s about the fastest thing on the road. I love the new ZZR1400 but I wouldn’t part with my 11 to get one! |

Hi Pep,
Sorry for my late answer
I’ve considered the 1400GTR, but at that time I more or less had enough of inline fours. So an ST1300 and R1200RT followed. After those I knew an inline four is my ’thing’. I like its characteristics better than those of other cilinder configurations. So my next bike will be an inline four, preferably from Kawasaki |

Hi Jeroen!
Congratulations for your page, It has kept me reading with great attention for some days since I discovered it.
Itīs been quite funny for me to see that we have very similar likings and experiences with motorbikes. My first big bike was a 1997 GPZ 1100 and then I jumped into BMW world. It was very satisfying for me in lots of aspects, but I missed the behaviour of 4 cylinder engines, so I bought the ZX12 which has taken me to your site.
Be sure I will follow your progress from now, Iīm wondering which will be your next bike!
I just would like to ask you why you finally didnīt buy the GTR 1400. This is one of the bikes I consider to replace my ZX12 in a future.
Regards from Spain!

Hello; I’ve got my ZX-11 year 1993, D1 model, US spec one week ago. It is in bad shape, engine runs poorly and have bad sound. There are very few of these bikes in my country so I didn’t have too much to choose from. I hope to fix it and bring her back to what she used to be. I’ll show some pictures as soon as it looks good enough to be included next to the others shown in this place. I will be glad to receive messages from other members who can help me showing me pages to buy parts, contact me to mail
Greetings from Bogota, Colombia, South America |
