Hi Karen
Looking at your Estartit site took me back. My first holiday abroad was in Estartit in 1966/67. Then it was genuine fishing village with a beach and what a beach about 7 miles with nothing on it outside the village line. Even then I managed some nude swimming and walking. I remember we stayed in a small family hotel in the main street which was called I think Santa Anna and the hotel was the same name. The rooms had the wonder of their own bathroom unheard of in Britain then. The journey from Edinburgh was epic. Train to London, train to a very different Gatwick, flight to Perpignan then coach to Esartit but when we got there it was all worth it. Think the whole holiday for full board including all trains etc cost £27 each but still expensive compared to my last visit to Feurty in Dec £86 for flight and £7 for a weeks accommodation in Corry
