Guys....What can I say? AWESOME fish. I’ve enjoyed your site now for, oh gosh, two and a half hours. I keep finding more and more. You’ve done a great job on the site (and you’re not bad fisherman either! J/K!). Keep on catchin’ the big’uns. Catch up with me sometime. My catfishing partner and I will take y’all to Santee-Cooper here in SC for a weekend trip. Let me know!

| I fish for big flats every chance I get. My best so far is a 53 1/2 pounder out of the Ohio River in 04’ on a large goldfish. I fish more with bluegill now on the Muskingum River. I found this website thru Ohio Game & Fish magazine. I wasn’t surprised to see an article about Robbie Robinson. I had seen other stuff on him over the past few years on various websites. I agree that high expectations of nightly flathead catches will disapoint anglers with less than patience for waiting hours. For me it’s just knowing that at any moment a fight at the other end of a clicking reel is worth the wait. It gets in your blood, as I feel it has with dedicated pros like Robbie. You’re the man, Steve McFarland Lowell, Ohio |

Good evening! Flatiator from over on the Catfish Corner website told me to check this site out. Well, I’m checking it out because it is my intention to learn as much about the flathead catfish (and other species) fishing, as soon as possible, so I can effectively do a better job catching them! I am rather a novice at this falthead game, although I have been catching catfish for over 50 years. This time, though, I’m on the hunt for big flathead catfish. So, help me out and I promise to pass on the knowledge to others who want to learn, as well. Thank you. |
