| Oh dear Tony, why on earth can’t we share the wet stuff - we’ve seen very fine drizzle over here on the North East Coast, and yet there are flood alerts over with you. Why on earth can’t the rain fall to fill the empty reservoirs - talk of hosepipe bans already in February seems totally crazy. Hope you don’t lose your wellies in the mud!! |

| Were those green shoots on the Hawthorn bush on Sunday’s pics? I am sure you will have been to Bolton Abbey, but if not there are wonderful walks there by the River. Just the job for Ben. Regs. June. |

Hi Tony,
I can’t believe I’ve looked at your pics for so long and not said a big thank you. Your picture today of the blackberry leaf sums it all up -such a talented photographer and you capture the feel of your walks so well. Thank you! Jo and Pete. |

I look practically every day but haven’t signed in the guestbook before although I have emailed you. I love your pictures and they always give me a ’lift’.
Thank you

| Hi Tony, do you mean you keep your camera(s) on automatic rather than manual? On manual you would have to adjust both aperture and speed independently. Great pics all the same. |

| Thank you Edith in Norway for forwarding the interesting video link on Ethel Fisher of Seaton. I forwarded it to my daughter-in-law in Harrington/Workington who was delighted watching it and couldn’t wait to share it with her 80 year-old mother, who’ll definitely appreciate the walk down memory lane, especially as many years ago her late sister worked in the chemist shop mentioned. I myself unfortunately couldn’t get any sound, so will have to wait till my next visit with the family in a few weeks time. |

Dear Tony thankyou for wonderful skies and a challenging ’quote’. I think I must be a ’fox’! confessing that your pictures
can make fascinating jigsaw puzzles!! With apologies to any one who agrees that it does seem rather a poor use of beauty.
I await a torrent of fury - or worse, a great silence. |

Forget the boats....was that a flying sourcer above the Drunken Duck? |

| I love your pictures from Tom Heights today. It is one of my favourite places. The views of the whole area from there are superb. You feel on top of the world, although the climb is very manageable. Sue |
