That one photo with sunshine and black clouds.... I love it.

Don’t worry Clemency, I can delete those when they ’pop up’.

Hello and thankyou for fantastic pictures - come rain or shine there is always one and sometimes many to lift the spirits.
13 million and counting fast but we could do without the gratuitous advertisements!in the guestbook.

Well winter suddenly came with a vengeance, we have been out twice to clear the drive now out again for the third time, about 15cm so far and blowing around, and that groundhog said that it would be an early spring

Snow drops and heavy horses. Great photos again. Poor lambs. It IS very cold. Forecast in The Netherlands is thaw as from Sunday afternoon. With snow and sleat and roads will turn very slippery. When it reaches you, on Monday, be careful on the roads!

I’m quite surprised to see new lambs already and even more so that they don’t have their plastic coats on - I bet they’re regretting coming so early! Many of your recent photos are like black&whites - still gorgeous! We’ve no snow here on the North East coast, but it’s still very cold. Was a little worried about Ben going onto the frozen tarn the other day and hope the ice holds! Stay safe, but keep the lovely images reminding us of how beautiful your homeland is.

Well, it does need the link; sorry for that.

Have a look at what’s going on in The Netherlands right now. I call it; The Dutch Madness. But it’s a happy madness. While I am enjoying the Lake District thanks to Tony and Ben, I decided to send him, and now also all of you, the link to this happy madness of ours. Much better than today’s politics. Have a great weekend, y’all.

Hello Tony -

In reply to Don - could ’olive and dove’ be rhyming slang for ’love’?

Thanks so much for your photos, good to have reminders of living in Langdale!

Best wishes to you all, Elaine and Pete
