| wow! i absolutely love you revised version of Nicole’s Stupid Diary! it’s absolutely fantastic and i really think you should add it on fictionpress along with your old version. Your story is definately one of the best i’ve ever read on ficitonpress and i absolutely luv all the characters in the story, espescially Matt, Myra, Chris and Nicole... wicked awesum story, i’ll make sure to read the first version after my exam tomorrow for whose study time i sacrificed for your story but it was totally worth it, except for the part that said "The End", Lol. you have a wicked awesum writing style and a ggreat sense of humour! which made the story all the better, see ya! =] |

| Hey, I was glad to see a message in my inbox about NSD. I almost deleted it because I didn’t recognise your pen name. But I remembered the title! I really liked this story. I agree that it did need some work and it can still do with some work - depending on where you want to take it. But overall, even if you hadn’t revised - you still did a pretty good job. I’m half way through my first story so I don’t feel as though I can give too much criticism. So all I can do is encourage you to write! |

Hey... I was so suprised when I got an email alert for NSD, but yeah, I do think that it’s a good idea to rewrite it. Don’t get me wrong, NSD is one of my favorite stories, and also one of the first I read on fp, so it does have a special spot  But as I was re-reading it- I mean the rewrite- I realized that there a lot of loop-holes in the plot. It’s hard to believe, for instance, that even though Mikayla and Nicole have been friends since fourth grade, she doesn’t even have an inkling of Nicole’s character. It would have been okay if they were just acquaintances, but they’re best friends. Also, Mika accepted Nicole and Chris’ relationship really easily, even though she must know that Nicole particularly dislikes him. Chris’ character, I think, needs some more fleshing out, particularly how his feelings for Nicole change- assuming that you’re changing the ending. And I really hope you do, because Chris really doesn’t seem like the kind who would keep his feelings for someone all bottled up inside. I think the story would become if you also paid more emphasis on how Nicole’s feelings change. For example, in chapter three, one moment she’s irritated at him for invading her lunch group, and the next she doesn’t quite mind him holding her hand. Please, please, don’t take this the wrong way; it’s all just constructive criticism, beacuse I really do think that you can do better. I really do love Myra and Matt’s characters, for example. |
