| Hey guys...hope all went well at the Fest in New Jersey! I listened to the last bit on the internet Sunday Night. Unfortunately, I didn’t hear any of Liverpool other than as backing musicians. Basically Slick then Hawkes with the Uke, Neil and the Rutles stuff..altho I did like "Beware of Darkness"...then of course Mark...then Brett...and the giant medley that always ensues! Only for a brief moment did I get to hear Glen as Hey Jude started. I know it’s killer to have the musical guests...and certainly Mark gives 100% and gets the crowd pumped up year in an out with the assorted oldies...but I sure miss hearing more of Liverpool...more of the Beatle songs most of us I think really wanna hear on a late Saturday and Sunday... Having so much other stuff takes away from hearing the best Beatle band in the land. I could be in the wrong I suppose...and I know newbies to the fest would be blown away by the Hudson performance...but I know it sure cuts down on the material we could be hearing! No offense intended to anyone... |

| Mitch hasn’t been with Liverpool for many years now. The band has had 2 bassists since his departure, and Glen has been in the band for some time now... |

Hey all,
First off, things are looking really great for next week’s show in Fair Lawn. The 8PM show is nearly sold out but there are still some tix avail for the 4PM show. Click on the link on our "Home" page for more details.
Secondly, Glen and myself had the honor of joining one of our long-time friends, Big D, for his Beatle Birthday Bash in Vincennes, IN, last Thursday night. Chicago’s Danny Donuts and his wife was there, and even Chicago DJ Terri Hemmert sent her wishes via phone!!
It was truly an honor to be backing up Big D and to be in the company of some of the most gracious and caring people we’ve ever met. Thanks for having us take part in your special day "D"!!!!
That’s all for now. Check our blogs soon for pix and, possibly, some video of the Birthday Bash in Indiana!!!
Peace,
John

Hey Guys! Man oh Man...what can I say about your comments I just read! That’s some big props coming from you guys. All I can say is that I truly love beatle music, which is why I’ve always had the greatest respect for how you have played the music so well over the years. I’ll never forget in ’93, my first fest..I know I was late... but I’ll never forget saying to myself..I will never ever miss another one.Getting to sit in with Liverpool was unbelievable to me...and I know I didn’t play the best!...it was just amazing to think that I was there amongst the very best of musicians. I only wish my Dad could have seen it. I always look forward to CHicago..and wish I could do the jersey & vegas trips but that’s beyond my means! Til August of ’09.... keep rocking bruthas.
