My wife Margaret and I spent 4 exellent days in the Claregalway Hotel doing water color painting with Michail and it was the best time we have had in a long long time.
Can a painter be a teacher I wondered on my way down and the answer is yes. Michail thought us so much that we have now made our new year resulation to take up painting.
In the group there was some people that were very skilled and then there was 2 people with no skill. We thought we would be left behind, Michail gave everyone the very same amount of help and incourgement and time. This man knows his stuff and know how to pass it on.
Add to you list of one hundred things to do before you die and that is to attend an art course with Michail. |

| Great new look. Sorry we didn’t connect while I was in Dublin in December. Hope the Christmas cookbook idea still holds some interest. Cheers from New York |

| Haven’t seen any of your work ’live’ yet, but from your pics of your paintings on your website you certainly have captured the two First Ladies to a ’t’. Well done you! A. |

Hello,
I just read about you in the "Irish Times." Did make a painting of 2010’s Hurling Final or are you going to do 2011’s? I would dearly love to see what you do with the game.
I wish you all the best and maybe I’ll catch you on one of the Cunard cruises.

Hi Michael; thoroughly enjoyed your classes onboard the QM2 March/April 2011. Only wish I had been staying on until Southampton so I could have continued your instruction. What you discussed was coming up the Monday after I left was a real temptation to stow away!!! I’ve only been home 2 days and am part way into a painting of Mission San Juan Capistrano in California - where I volunteer in their breathtaking gardens (you should visit some time).
Thank you for all your inspiration and for helping to unlock a new interest - one I hope to continue for years to come.

Thanks for your encouragement on the QM2, Michael. I have really enjoyed it and look forward to playing with water colours much more in the days to come! Hope to come over to Clare to see your art work some day.
