Back in the vanning days I was well know as Dr. F_ _ k-up.
I’m still around and as crazy as ever.

Hi Vanners,
Theresa here, the Treasurer of MVL. I hope you enjoy the pictures from our club’s night at Crashfest at the Illiana Speedway. The club had a blast getting the truck ready for weeks and then going out and watching the races. We had a great turn out, over 20 of us were out at the track, cooking and hanging out and partied into the night back at one of the club member’s home.
The club has really been enjoying hanging out together and doing projects, partying and just having fun. MVL has grown this year with 3 new members and yet we have never been tighter as a group. We have become a big family again. We really enjoy each others company and our meetings always revolve around sharing a meal and then getting things done. We are working so well together and having a blast doing it.
We will be attending Hy Rollin’s truck-in in Wisconsin Oct 2-4 and are planning on a big turn out from our club, so big, that we are planning a club meeting for up there on Sat. afternoon.
We have a couple of events coming up, November Numb and Our 33rd Annual Toys for Tots party on December 5th 2009. The Toys for Tots party is a lot of fun and benefits so many kids in Chicago through our support of Marrillac House on Chicago’s near west side. I got to experience first hand the work that they do at Marrillac House and the # of families they serve in this neighborhood when I helped deliver the toys and food we colected after last year’s party. It was a great feeling to know we helped give a Christmas to lots of kids. Thanks to all of you have supported our Toys for Tots over the years and we hope to see even more people this year. Come out and enjoy a fun night of Casino games, live music and great door prizes. You are sure to have a great time.
