Well Well Well
Easter has come and gone, and the Gold Coast was back in action for a couple of days doing what it does best, entertaining and feeding the masses who were all taking a well deserved break from the hard recent times.
Mining might be huge for Australia but the two speed economy is an imbalance we need to rectify for the good of all.
I think the Gold Coast can save itself by investing in Human Capital in much the same way Los Vegas has transformed a desert gambling entity to the Entertainment Capital of the World, the place is astounding.
Totaly driven by human beings, not pretty locations, sea side visits or mountain trecks, the asthetic appeal of a place is no longer strong enough to attract a paying audience, we need to smash some great Human Attractions into our existing hotels, clubs , pubs and at the same time smash their reliance on horrible poker machines.
Los Vegas has proved that Human Talent attractions have blown away the shallow concepts that are now as outdated as the play things of only twenty years ago.
